As featured in Time Out’s “10 best Airbnbs near Los Angeles,” our award-winning tiny cabin pairs a Scandinavian aesthetic with smart, ergonomic design—set into the rocks with sweeping Topanga Canyon views through a dramatic A‑frame glass window. It’s made for slowing down: reading, soaking, and truly unplugging.
Inside you’ll find a European “slightly larger than full” bed (two singles joined with a plush topper so it sleeps like one comfortable mattress), organic cotton sheets, WiFi, and portable heating/AC. The space is intentionally minimal and uncluttered, with a few shelves and thoughtful touches for a calm stay.
Outside, your private fenced area includes a redwood-enclosed deck with cushions and globe string lights—plus a sunken, heated hot tub nestled under the rocks for sunset soaks. The bathroom is outdoors: a partly covered wash area with copper sink, a compost toilet, and a fully outdoor copper shower under the stars (hot water provided).
Good to know before you book
- No kitchen. Think “hotel room.” We provide coffee, tea, water, milk, and a few snacks. There’s a cooler outside (pick up ice if you’d like to chill items).
- Not isolated. We’re in a canyon neighborhood with neighbors on either side. Our main home is across the path; you may see us (and our dog, Wizard) in the parking area or on the path. Your hot tub and deck are solely yours.
- Bright mornings. The big window maximizes natural light—eye masks are provided for sleep.
- Nature happens. In some seasons, small ants may appear if food is left out.
- Fire safety. No smoking anywhere on the property (high fire-risk zone).
- Road is windy. Please drive slowly.
- Bring sandals/flip-flops for walking to the shower and hot tub.
- No weather-related refunds. Rain can be especially beautiful here—we just can’t control it.
- Please leave robes, eye masks, and accessories in the cabin. A $100 restocking fee applies if items are taken.
